Showcase of local business, health, lifestyle and leisure

April 11, 2012

The South Burnett Regional Council’s second annual business expo – this year dubbed South Burnett Exposed – will be held this weekend at the Kingaroy Town Hall, in conjunction with a home and lifestyle expo.

South Burnett Exposed is designed to showcase the broad range of services and businesses available in the region. As well as exhibitors inside the Town Hall and in the forecourt, there will also be business and lifestyle workshops running on both Saturday and Sunday.

Workshops will cover everything from tendering to healthy cooking, from solar energy and E-commerce to how to access business assistance.

On Saturday evening, businesspeople have also been invited to attend a “Business Mixer” networking and innovation recognition function in the Kingaroy Town Hall Supper Room from 5:00pm to 7:00pm.

This free event will include guest speaker Robert Pekin (Food Connect) and Craig Rutledge, Director of Strategic Projects and Planning at the Department of Employment, Economic Development and Innovation. To book, contact Kerrie Shirley at the South Burnett Regional Council on (07) 4189-9174.
