Sunday Poker - Kingaroy
- Sunday afternoon poker games will be played at Kingaroy RSL in Markwell Street, Kingaroy today. Registrations start at 2:00pm and play begins at 2:30pm. All games are free to play and there are prizes for first, second and third. More details? Phone the RSL on (07) 4162-1755
Kingaroy Junior Cricket Sign-On
- The Kingaroy Junior Cricket Club will be holding presentations and its 2020-21 Sign On Day at Lyle Vidler Oval in Youngman Street, Kingaroy (just next to Beangrowers) this morning. The event will begin with the final session of Junior Blasters running from 10:00am to 11:00am, and a free sausage sizzle will get underway at 10:30am. After this, presentations will occur at 11:00am. New players are very welcome to come along, guests should BYO chair or picnic rug, and COVIDSafe rules apply.
Clovely Cellar Door Reopens At Moffatdale
- Clovely Estate's cellar door in Steinhardt's Road, Moffatdale will be reopening today after some winter refurbishments. Clovely stock the widest range of South Burnett wines (including many varieties exclusive to the estate) and routinely win medals at national and state wine shows for their wines. The cellar door offers wine tastings, sales and a new timber terrace that allows visitors to take in sweeping vineyard views of the surrounding countryside.
