21st Anniversay Quilt Show - Nanango
The Nanango Country Quilters & Crafts group are celebrating their 21st anniversary this week with a Quilt Show at the Nanango Cultural Centre in George Street, Nanango. The show - which will be open from 9:00am to 4:00pm daily from September 1st through to Wednesday, September 5th features individual works by the group's members along with with Quilts of Love and Cancer Bags for oncology patients. A Wallhanging Challenge will also be on show (to be decided by viewers choice) and a beautiful quilt is being raffled, with the raffle proceeds being donated to breast cancer research (proceeds from Quilt Show itself are being donated to the Nanango SES). Yarraman Kindergarten Golf Day - Blackbutt
The Yarraman Kindergarten will be holding a Golf Day at the Blackbutt Golf Club in Bowman Road, Blackbutt today as a fundraiser for the Kindy. It'll be a 3-person ambrose event - tee off is at 11:00am - and both golfers and non-golfers are very welcome.
