March 11.<\/p>\n<p>On Day One two games of 21 ends were played, and on Day Two, 2 games of 18 ends.<\/p>\n<p>The quality of play was of a very high level and at the end of the first day only four teams were on two wins.<\/p>\n<p>On the second day, though, warm weather combined with a blustery breeze made conditions difficult &#8211; so much so that by the end of the first game there were only two teams with a maximum score<\/p>\n<p>And the final outcome was just one team with the maximum 4 wins<\/p>\n<p><strong>Results:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Winners: Tewantin Noosa\/Palmwoods Bowls Club &#8211; 4 wins, 52 ends (Valma Lynch, Claudia Cartwright, Pam Styles, Yvonne Ambrey)<\/li>\n<li>Runners Up: Wondai &#8211; 3 wins, 46 ends (Jan Andresen, Margaret, Wyatt, Del Lane, Hazel Keding)<\/li>\n<li>Third: Bribie Island Bowls Club &#8211; 3 wins, 45 ends (Megan Garfield, Irene Smith, Mandy McIntyre, Isabelle McLaren)<\/li>\n<li>Fourth: Binjour Bowls Club &#8211; 3 wins, 42 ends.<\/li>\n<li>Fifth: Tewantin Noosa Bowls Club &#8211; 3 wins. 41 ends, margin 40<\/li>\n<li>Sixth: North Toowoomba Bowls Club &#8211; 3 wins. 41 ends, margin 21<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>* * *<\/strong><\/h2>\n<h3><strong>Kingaroy News<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><strong>Last Sunday warm, sunny weather greeted male and female members for their regular game of bowls.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>With some players away at other clubs, the numbers were down and only 20 played on the newly-renovated green; some experienced difficulty with the speed.<\/p>\n<p><strong>In Pairs:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Marj Moore and Greg Schulz def. Briggitte Kung and Kev Raffin 18-11<\/li>\n<li>Charmaine MacLeod and Dave Barwick def.
