The Nanango & District Netball Association<\/strong> will be turning “hot pink” on the Mother’s Day weekend (May 12-13) to pay tribute to local women and their families who have been affected by breast cancer.<\/p>\n

Club spokeswoman Lynn Smith said they would be taking part in Breast Cancer Network Australia\u2019s Pink Footy & Netball Day<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

“It’s a cause close to our hearts,” she said.<\/p>\n

“As we start to count down to our Pink Footy & Netball Day we\u2019re inviting our biggest fans to cheer us on and to dig deep to help us reach our personal fundraising goal.<\/p>\n

“Every dollar counts so please help us make a difference with a secure online donation, big or small.<\/p>\n

“Please visit our fundraising page<\/strong><\/a> and click on ‘Donate’. You will automatically receive a tax-deductible receipt via email.”<\/p>\n

Every day, 38 women will be told they have breast cancer and seven women will die from the disease.<\/p>\n

Breast Cancer Network Australia will receive 100 per cent of all donations.<\/p>\n
