Almost 500 Year 7-9 schoolchildren packed into the Kingaroy Town Hall on Tuesday to be transported back to Gallipoli.<\/p>\n

“Gallipoli – A Manual Of Trench Warfare” tells the story of two Diggers in the trenches – with the Turks just 200m away.<\/p>\n

There are mortar blasts and bullets whizzing – mixed with a fair bit of humour as well.<\/p>\n

The South Burnett Regional Council secured funding through the Queensland Anzac Centenary Grants Program to bring Jally Entertainment\u2019s highly realistic production to Kingaroy.<\/p>\n

Today’s matinee performance was just for the schoolkids – and they had the opportunity to speak to the actors afterwards.<\/p>\n

Adults get their opportunity to enjoy the live production this evening.<\/p>\n

Doors open at 6:45pm for a 7:30pm start.<\/p>\n

Cost is $30 (adult) or $25 (concession) and tickets will be on sale at the door.<\/p>\n
