A road safety program that has been delivered to more than 1000 young people from across the South Burnett over the past three years has been featured in the July edition of “Emergency” magazine.<\/p>\n

The RYDA program was brought to the region by Rotary but it couldn’t work without the co-operation of local police and State Emergency Service volunteers.<\/p>\n

Kingaroy Officer-In-Charge Senior Sergeant Duane Frank praised the SES in the article and thanked them for their invaluable support.<\/p>\n

He praised them in person on Wednesday evening when he dropped into a routine SES training session in Kingaroy to present local SES Controller John Kefford with a framed copy of the magazine.<\/p>\n

He said the SES efforts were much appreciated by police, especially in smaller regional towns where police numbers are smaller.<\/p>\n
