Police and emergency vehicles in Power Street this afternoon<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

February 14, 2015<\/strong><\/p>\n

Fire crews used high-pressure hoses to extinguish a fire at the rear of a house in Power Street, Kingaroy, this afternoon.<\/p>\n

The blaze, which was quickly extinguished, damaged the rear wall of the building as well as clothing and other household items.<\/p>\n

QFRS Kingaroy Station officer Bruce Groer said the cause of the fire was as yet undetermined.<\/p>\n

The fire broke out about 12:45pm.<\/p>\n

Officer-in-Charge of Kingaroy Police, Senior Sergeant Duane Frank, said people were in the house at the time the fire started in a patio area, but all escaped without injury.<\/p>\n

The fire only caused a minimal amount of structural damage.<\/p>\n

Police forensic officers attended the scene and investigations are continuing.<\/p>\n

[UPDATED]<\/strong><\/p>\n

* * *<\/strong><\/center>Yesterday morning, fire crews from Goomeri were called to a truck on fire on the Kinbombi Range.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The fire appears to have begun in the engine bay of the truck and trailer combination, and then spread to the cabin area.<\/p>\n

Fire crews stopped it before it could damage the rest of the vehicle.<\/p>\n

No one was injured in the blaze.<\/p>\n
