St John’s Lutheran Church is hosting a World Day Of Prayer<\/a><\/strong> service in Kingaroy on Friday, March 6.<\/p>\n

Every year, different churches in Kingaroy take turns at hosting the interdenominational service which coincides with celebrations all over the world.<\/p>\n

This year the theme is “Do You Know What I Have Done To You?”, chosen by women from the Bahamas.<\/p>\n

Guest speaker will be Fr Nigel Sequeira, from St Mary’s Catholic parish in Kingaroy.<\/p>\n

The service, at St John’s Church in Youngman Street, Kingaroy, will start at 10:00am and there will be morning tea afterwards.<\/p>\n

Representatives from six local churches and schoolchildren from Kingaroy State High School, St Mary’s Catholic College and St John’s Lutheran School will be taking part.<\/p>\n

In Nanango, Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church will be hosting the World Day Of Prayer celebration from 10:00am.<\/b><\/p>\n

The guest speaker will be Sr Genevieve Caffery, RSM.<\/p>\n

Light refreshments will be available afterwards.<\/p>\n
