Organisers of the annual St Michael and All Angels Fete, held in the grounds of the Anglican Church in Kingaroy on Saturday, are happy with how the day went off.<\/p>\n

“It was excellent; I am really, really happy with everything,” Gwenda Allen said. “It was a very happy crowd.”<\/p>\n

Visitors had a choice of craft stalls to browse through as well as the opportunity to watch displays by local groups.<\/p>\n

And the best thing of all? It wasn’t raining!<\/p>\n

“The Lord was kind this year,” Gwenda said. “It was fine. The last two years it poured rain.”<\/p>\n

Profits raised from the fete will go to assist the St Michael and All Angels parish.<\/p>\n
