January 22, 2015<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Goomeri Golf Club held its annual presentation night at the weekend.<\/p>\n

It was attended by 65 people, some travelling from Brisbane and other towns in the South Burnett.<\/p>\n

The camp oven meal was supplied by the Rossmore Road Caravan Park. It was not only very satisfying,\u00a0it was also very tasty.<\/p>\n

This event is proving to be very popular now that it has been moved to January,\u00a0getting away from the busy month of December.<\/p>\n

President Hilton Plant and Club Captain Peter Delaney presented the many trophies to the various winners.<\/p>\n

Garth Slaughter was the most successful golfer for the year. The most successful woman was Joy Koy.<\/p>\n

Both Kim Pitman and Garth Slaughter received \u201cHole in One” awards.<\/p>\n

The Golf Course is looking a picture at the moment after the lovely rain. President Hilton thanked the volunteers who keep the course in excellent condition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
