Kingaroy Police are urging motorists to be vigilant around school zones as children head back to school after the Christmas break.<\/p>\n

Children can be unpredictable, especially if they’re excited about returning to school to see their friends.<\/p>\n

Motorists should also show extra caution around school bus areas, as children may unexpectedly emerge from between or in front of buses.<\/p>\n

In the South Burnett Regional Council area, the school zone times are 8:00am\u20139:30am and 2:30pm\u20134:00pm.<\/p>\n

As school zone times in other Council areas may differ from these times, always pay close attention to the times indicated when coming into school zones.<\/p>\n

Police will be patrolling school zones to ensure motorists obey the speed limit.<\/p>\n
