In u14s, the Kingaroy Red Ants were too strong overall for Wondai\u00a0<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

August 25, 2012<\/strong><\/p>\n

The last round of fixtures in the 2012 South Burnett rugby league competition turned into a fizzer this weekend with no A Grade games played because of a string of forfeits.<\/p>\n

At Cherbourg, Blackbutt forfeited its scheduled match against competition leaders, Cherbourg Hornets.<\/p>\n

At Wondai, Kingaroy forfeited against the Wolves.<\/p>\n

At Murgon, Murgon and Nanango were originally scheduled to face at each other, but both clubs finished their season early.<\/p>\n

Players from the four teams in finals contention – Cherbourg, Kingaroy, Blackbutt and Wondai – were obviously saving themselves for next weekend’s Major Semi-Finals which will be played at Cherbourg.<\/p>\n

All junior games, with the exception of the Cherbourg \/ Brumbies U16 match, went ahead as scheduled.<\/p>\n
