The Burnett Mary Regional Group (BMRG) will be holding a public meeting in Kingaroy next month to help plan their future on-ground works funding under the new National Landcare Program.<\/p>\n

BMRG are inviting Landcare and community groups, and any other interested persons, to attend the meeting – which is one of five community meetings to be held across the region.<\/p>\n

The meeting aims to build awareness and understanding about the Federal Government’s National Landcare Program.<\/p>\n

Under the program,\u00a0 20 per cent of BMRG\u2019s Regional funding allocation must be directed towards on-ground projects and related activities.<\/p>\n

The Kingaroy meeting will be held on Monday, January 19, from 6:00pm to 7:30pm at the Taabinga Room, at the J Bjelke-Petersen centre, opposite Kingaroy Airport.<\/p>\n

Other meetings will be held at Mundubbera, Bundaberg, Maryborough and Gympie.<\/p>\n
