The South Burnett Speedway Club is gearing up for a big weekend of racing to welcome in the New Year.<\/p>\n

The club will be hosting the 2015 Australian Late Models Championship, sponsored by Kingaroy Equipment Sales, on January 2-3.<\/p>\n

There’ll also be Modified Sedans and Street Stocks racing on Friday night.<\/p>\n

On Saturday, as well as the final of the Late Models National Title, there’ll also be AMCAs, Production Sedans, Juniors and 4 Cylinders in action.<\/p>\n

Saturday evening will be topped off by a fireworks display.<\/p>\n

A total of 135 drivers have nominated across all classes on the weekend.<\/p>\n

Racing on both nights will start 5:00pm.<\/p>\n

The club will hold a calcutta night based around the Australian Late Model Title will on New Year’s Day (January 1) after practice and scrutineering have been completed.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The calcutta night, which will be\u00a0 held in one of the new pavilions at Kingaroy Showgrounds, will start at 6:30pm and feature a two-course meal and live entertainment, as well as the auction.<\/p>\n
