December 21, 2014<\/strong><\/p>\n

St Mary\u2019s Catholic College\u2019s Prep to Year 7 students recently performed a musical, “Peace Child”.<\/p>\n

The performance was produced by Mrs Tamara Collins, the College\u2019s Dance and Drama teacher.<\/p>\n

Mrs Collins auditioned students from Prep to Year 7 and produced the musical after school rehearsals during Term 4.<\/p>\n

“Peace Child”\u00a0 tells the story of two tribes divided by a river and years of intolerance and hatred who are brought together through the birth of a peace child.<\/p>\n

College principal Michael Nayler said he was extremely proud of his students\u2019 talent.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere was barely a dry eye in the house as the incredibly moving story of the Peace Child reached its climax,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Mrs Collins said she was also proud that her talented young actors had worked so hard and created such an outstanding production.<\/p>\n
