Following the overwhelming success of the inaugural Reconciliation Fun Run held earlier this year, The Ration Shed Museum and Cherbourg community plan to hold a follow-up event in 2015.<\/p>\n

The date which has been chosen is Sunday, May 17.<\/p>\n

More than 300 runners and walkers took part in the inaugural event which was held in April.<\/p>\n

Participants covered the 7km trek from the Murgon Showgrounds to Cherbourg.<\/p>\n

Three \u201creviver\u201d stations spread along the route supplied bottled water and orange slices.<\/p>\n

The Fun Run was a fundraiser for Cherbourg\u2019s Ration Shed Museum but its main purpose was to promote reconciliation.<\/p>\n

It drew support from both the Cherbourg and South Burnett councils, dozens of volunteers and Reconciliation Queensland.<\/p>\n
