development &#8230; a complaint about the State Government&#8217;s sale of a portion of the park has been lodged with the Ombudsman&#8217;s office<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><strong>December 9, 2014<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A complaint has been lodged with the Queensland Ombudsman over the State Government&#8217;s sale of a portion of Adermann Park in Kingaroy to St John&#8217;s Lutheran School in 2013.<\/p>\n<p>Although the Ombudsman&#8217;s Office has refused to confirm or deny any investigation due to privacy considerations, sources close to the South Burnett Regional Council have confirmed Council recently received paperwork from the Ombudsman&#8217;s office.<\/p>\n<p>The complaint is the latest in a string that followed the State Government&#8217;s decision in April 2013 to approve the sale of a portion of the park to allow expansion of the school.<\/p>\n<p>All have been dismissed, except one against South Burnett councillor Damien Tessmann which was partially upheld in January by the Local Government Regional Conduct Review Panel.<\/p>\n<p>This complaint,\u00a0lodged by Windera resident Ralph Percy, was upheld in relation to an address made by Cr Tessmann to Council about the Adermann family&#8217;s feelings towards the proposed sale, rather than the actual sale of the Adermann Park land.<\/p>\n<p>At the time, Mr Percy said\u00a0he was considering taking the matter further by approaching the Ombudsman, claiming other complaints by him had been dismissed due to &#8220;political decisions by the National Party&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p><strong>southburnett.com.au<\/strong> does
