QRAA Client Liaison Officer Bill Fletcher<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

QRAA Client Liaison Officer Bill Fletcher will be running a “temporary office” at Goomeri early next month to allow primary producers to find out more about the range of financial assistance programs available.<\/p>\n

He will be at Goomeri SES Hall, Burnett Highway, Goomeri, from 8:30am to 4:30pm on Tuesday, December 2.<\/p>\n

Primary producers who would like to meet with Bill to discuss their individual situation should call 1800-623-946.<\/p>\n

* * *<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/strong>Concessional loan packages include:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  • Drought Concessional Loans<\/strong> – up to $1 million to assist farm businesses recover from and prepare for future droughts and return to viability in the longer term. These loans have an initial concessional interest rate of 4 per cent.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
      \n
    • Farm Finance Concessional Loans<\/strong> – up to $1 million to assist eligible farm businesses restructure existing farm business debt. These loans are offered at the initial concessional interest rate of 4.5 per cent.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
        \n
      • Sustainability Loans<\/strong> – up to $650,000 to help producers improve the productivity and sustainability of their enterprises.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        Drought and Farm Finance loans have a maximum loan term of five years with interest only repayment options available. Over the five year term, producers could realise benefits of up to $150,000, with average benefit ranging from $20,000 to $30,000 per year (based on current approvals under the scheme).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
