November 20, 2014<\/strong><\/p>\n

Last night’s storm cells left many parts of the South Burnett without power.<\/p>\n

More than 20 power outages in the region were reported to Ergon Energy.<\/p>\n

Once of the largest was in the Inverlaw, Kumbia and Goodger areas where about 1400 people lost power just before 9:00pm.<\/p>\n

Most power was restored by 10:30pm; all power was restored at 3:48am.<\/p>\n

Forty-seven customers in the Booie area lost power at 6:35pm; power was restored at 8:35pm.<\/p>\n

About 90 residents in the Wooroolin and Cushnie areas lost power at 7:30pm; power was reconnected by 10:00am. <\/p>\n

It was a busy night for Ergon Energy repair crews who were working throughout the Wide Bay region.<\/p>\n

An Ergon spokesman said all the major power supply interruptions were rectified by crews last night.<\/p>\n

The major ongoing outage in the Wide Bay-Burnett region this morning was one affecting about 100 customers between Durong and Ballogie.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
