South Burnett CTC’s mobile trailer of fun, “MERV”, is sporting a brand new look thanks to the talents of Cherbourg artists Les and Barbara Stewart.<\/p>\n

The “Mobile Entertainment & Recreational Vehicle” now features traditional motifs all around as well as a strong anti-violence message.<\/p>\n

Les and Barbara have been working on the artwork over the past three weeks.<\/p>\n

MERV’s exterior makeover also includes the installation of new wheels and tyres.<\/p>\n

Inside, it has also enjoyed an update with the installation of new LED TV screens and gaming consoles.<\/p>\n

A generator has also been fitted which means MERV can now work as a stand-alone unit, which will increase its usefulness at venues out of town.<\/p>\n

Shaun Bliesner, from CTC’s Connections in Murgon, said a movie projector, screen and disco lights were also being installed.<\/p>\n

The total makeover has cost about $10,000 with Les and Barbara donating their time.<\/p>\n
