Students, parents and teachers converged on St Mary\u2019s Catholic College in Kingaroy on Thursday night to celebrate the arts in all its forms.<\/p>\n

There was singing, dancing, music and artworks of all descriptions.<\/p>\n

The school’s annual Arts Showcase at the Mary Knoll Centre included paintings, sculptures, prints, photographs and mixed media works by students from all grades.<\/p>\n

St Mary’s art teacher Bron Langford-Martoo, who curated the annual showcase, said she was very pleased with the overall quality of the students’ work.<\/p>\n

“Some of our students have exhibited at other exhibitions during the course of the last year and their works have been well-received,” she said.<\/p>\n

“Our school is very proud of the talents our students possess.”<\/p>\n

Year 12 students tackled works exploring the human condition, and the results produced some of the most striking pieces in the show.<\/p>\n
