Kingaroy RSL Services have continued their good start to the season with a four-wicket win over Warriors at Lyle Vidler Oval in Kingaroy this afternoon.<\/p>\n

Warriors batted first but were all out for 179 off 41 overs.<\/p>\n

Andrew Askin led the way with the bat, taking 95 runs.<\/p>\n

Hayden Steen kept the board ticking over at the other end, making 25 before he was bowled by Adam Geiger.<\/p>\n

Adam’s father Darren was the best of the RSL Services’ bowlers, taking 4\/16 off eight overs; Cody Bauer took 3\/21 off nine overs.<\/p>\n

In reply, RSL Services took just 30 overs to make the target, finishing 6\/182.<\/p>\n

Mark Schmidt top-scored with 70, but David Hosking (33 n.o.), Brady Roberts (24) and Brett Porter (23 n.o.) also made a valuable contribution.<\/p>\n

Luke Gogerly (2\/34 off eight overs), Luke Smith (2\/40 off five overs), Tony Jenkins (1\/25 off three overs) and Hayden Steene (1\/30 off five overs) took the wickets for Warriors.<\/p>\n

Murgon Crusaders have notched up their first win of the season, downing Nanango in their A Grade match at Nanango on Saturday.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Dean Olzard, who knocked out a half-century last week against Warriors, had another good day with the bat for the Scorpions, top-scoring with 93.<\/p>\n

Brendan Weil (49) also had a strong knock and later took 1\/40 with the ball.<\/p>\n

Nanango finished 8\/247 with Murgon’s Graham Brown taking 3\/47.<\/p>\n

In reply, Murgon lost just three wickets on their way to 250.<\/p>\n

D Thompson top-scored with 53 while Jason Webber and Ashley Sippel both finished with 49 n.o.<\/p>\n

In B Grade, Kumbia were too strong for Murgon Diggers in Kumbia.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Diggers were all out for 98 off 29 overs.<\/p>\n

Rodney Anderson (31) was best with the bat while\u00a0Zac Dawson made a handy 18.<\/p>\n

Joe Milsom took 4\/12 off six overs.<\/p>\n

In reply, Kumbia passed the target after 20 overs, finishing 4\/102.<\/p>\n

Ryan Kelly (27) and\u00a0Alex Firman (22) were the best for the Rattlers.<\/p>\n

Ryan Sommerfeld took \u00a02\/28 off six overs.<\/p>\n

Kumbia won by six wickets.<\/p>\n

In the Warriors v RSL Services B Grade match, Warriors bowler Ian Haack starred with the ball, taking a hat-trick and finishing with the amazing figures of five wickets for just four runs off five overs.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Haack ripped through Services who were all out for 79.<\/p>\n

Earlier, Warriors had set a formidable target of 257 for the loss of six wickets. Stuart Lavaring top-scored for \u00a0Warriors with 70.<\/p>\n
