Hivesville Country Market held its 6th anniversary markets last Sunday\u00a0and although it became very hot as the day went on, there was an excellent attendance of visitors and 35 stalls.<\/p>\n

The day kicked off with the anniversary cake cutting.<\/p>\n

Ken Seng, the original President, had\u00a0the honour with councillors Kathy Duff and Ros Heit acting as his body guards.<\/p>\n

The cake was made by Tash Monk (Tash’s Baked Goods is on Facebook).<\/p>\n

This was followed by an exhibition of Tai Chi. The women meet every Tuesday at the Hivesville Oval at\u00a03:30pm. All inquiries can be made through Cathy at the Proston Clinic.<\/p>\n

The Proston Line Dancers, led by Irene McDonald, showcased their skills under very difficult heat\u00a0conditions and showed that age is no barrier when it comes to enjoying yourself.<\/p>\n

The President and the Committee would like to extend a big thank you to all the stallholders and visitors\u00a0for making the day a great success.<\/p>\n

The next market will be held on Sunday, November 23.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
