Teams came from Bongaree, Bribie, Aspley, Narangba, Caboolture, Maleny, Solander and Glasshouse to join up with the Brisbane Valley teams for a great day out.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>* * *<\/strong><\/h2>\n<h3><strong>Kingaroy news<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><strong>Last Sunday was the Members Sponsor Competition.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Kingaroy lady bowlers Peggy Robinson, Marj Moore and Gladys Slatter generously sponsored the club Triples Competiton, and thirty-six players supported the day.<\/p>\n<p>The sponsors chose the conditions of play, with any team only allowed to win one trophy.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Winners (Highest Winning Score): Dave Barwick, Alan Irwin and Beryl Woods def. Steve Carland, Eric Ford and Val Jeppesen 29-20<\/li>\n<li>Runners Up (Winning score closest to 18): Fred Keding, Charmaine MacLeod and Maureen Semgreen def. Des Richards, Gladys Slatter and Bruce Johnston 21-15.<\/li>\n<li>Third (Lowest winning score): Evelyn Taylor, Ross Olsson and Kev Raffin 20 def.
