South Burnett Regional Council chief executive officer Ken McLoughlin was the special guest at Murgon State High School’s annual speech night on Thursday.<\/p>\n

Mr McLoughlin shared words of encouragement with the departing Year 12 students and presented a number of prizes, including the shield to 2014 Senior Dux Sarah Anderson.<\/p>\n

Parents, students and guests filled Murgon Town Hall to celebrate the academic, cultural and sporting achievements of students over the past 12 months.<\/p>\n

Also announced on the evening were the School Captains for 2015: \u00a0\u00a0Jenna Marschall and Andrew Jensen.<\/p>\n
