October 14, 2014<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Gympie District Beef Liaison Group, in conjunction with the Mary River Catchment Co-ordinating Committee, will be holding a Grazing BMP workshop and field day at Woolooga next Tuesday.<\/p>\n

The day will get underway at 8:30am at Woolooga Hall.<\/p>\n

There will be information sessions on the Grazing BMP Program and self-assessment tool, Western Mary Catchment grazing land types, and drought nutrition and supplements.<\/p>\n

After a barbecue lunch, participants will travel to Phil Stanford’s property ‘Argentum’ for a field walk.<\/p>\n

Topics to be covered include energy efficient grazing practices, the Carbon Farming Initiative and Reef Rescue projects.<\/p>\n

Bookings are required for catering purposes.<\/p>\n
