Fire has damaged part of the Goldmix Stockfeeds plant on the Murgon-Gayndah Road at Windera.<\/p>\n

The fire brigade was called just before 7:00pm this evening after smoke was seen issuing from a silo.<\/p>\n

A QFES spokesperson said six fire crews attended the site and sprayed foam on the flames.<\/p>\n

At 9:15pm, firefighters were still removing smouldering product from the silo in a bid to make the area safe.<\/p>\n

Gas monitors are checking air quality.<\/p>\n

Goldmix supplies bulk and bagged stockfeeds to local farmers in the South and North Burnett areas. It is part of the Norco group.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
