Ever wondered how fudge is made? If you have, you can find out all about it if you drop by Taste South Burnett’s cellar door on Monday, October 6.<\/p>\n

Taste South Burnett make their famous Kingaroy fudges once each week.<\/p>\n

They usually do this on Sundays, but as part of this week’s South Burnett and Cherbourg On Show long weekend they’re doing it on Monday instead.<\/p>\n

And if you time things just right, you may even be able to try hot fudge on a stick fresh from the oven!<\/p>\n

Taste South Burnett are the South Burnett’s cellar door, and they stock the region’s largest range of home-grown products.<\/p>\n

These include wines from Kingsley Grove, Tipperary Estate and Barambah Wines; liqueurs from Cranes Winery; pressed oils and peanut butters from Proteco; organic chutneys and preserves from Richard’s Kitchen; teas and coffees; locally produced smallgoods from Swickers; capers from Bunya Red Farm; and many, many more.<\/p>\n

Their award-winning cellar door is located at Shop 4, 36 Alford Street in Kingaroy (just at the end of the arcade) and is open from 11:00am to 5:30pm Mondays to Fridays; and 10:00am to 4:00pm on weekends and public holidays.<\/p>\n

If you drop by for a visit, you can sample South Burnett wines and many of the other lines they stock, and even make your own coffee on site for just $3.50 per cup (including a fresh locally-made biscuit).<\/p>\n

Taste South Burnett also provide freshly-made morning teas, lunches and afternoon teas you can eat in the shaded eating area outside their shop.<\/p>\n

And – of course – the region’s best range of delicious fudges.<\/p>\n
