New feedback boxes have been provided at Kingaroy Hospital to allow visitors to provide feedback on their experiences.<\/p>\n

Seven feedback boxes, along with newly designed forms, have recently been installed across\u00a0the hospital complex.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe brochures enable patients or visitors to the hospital to express their compliments,\u00a0complaints or suggestions in an easy-to-fill out form,\u201d Kingaroy Hospital administration manager\u00a0Carol Anderson said.<\/p>\n

\u201cAvenues for people to provide feedback have always existed. This however is a new and\u00a0easier way to ensure that this feedback is lodged with hospital staff who can either act on the\u00a0complaint or pass on the compliment.\u201d<\/p>\n

The feedback boxes and forms are located in the hospital\u2019s allied health building, renal unit,\u00a0community health building, specialist outpatient clinic, emergency section, oral health clinic and\u00a0in the general ward.<\/p>\n

People can also lodge the forms on behalf of a loved one or relative accessing health services\u00a0at the Kingaroy Hospital.<\/p>\n

\u201cForms will be collected from the boxes twice a week,\u201d Ms Anderson said.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt is hoped that the feedback provided will help improve services. We don\u2019t know if people don\u2019t\u00a0tell us.\u201d<\/p>\n

The feedback boxes and forms are being rolled out across the entire Darling Downs Hospital and\u00a0Health Service.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
