A TV film crew today enjoyed a sneak peek at the mystery star of the South Burnett’s upcoming Tractor Tattoo<\/strong> arts and music festival.<\/p>\n

The crew, from Channel 7’s The Great South East<\/a>,\u00a0<\/strong>filmed segments about the festival at the Visitor Information Centre in Kingaroy and in the Town Hall forecourt area.<\/p>\n

They learned about the Funky Teapots crafted as part of an RADF-funded workshop, experienced the “yarn bombing” of a working tractor, and even met the mechanical star of the Tattoo – the percussive tractor which has been crafted especially for the occasion.<\/p>\n

The Tractor Tattoo concert will be held on September 15 in the Kingaroy Town Hall forecourt, the culmination of a string of activities throughout the region focussing on tractors.<\/p>\n

The South Burnett Regional Council \u2013 with the assistance of Creative Regions \u2013 has secured $97,000 in Federal and State arts grants to stage the music and visual arts festival.<\/p>\n
