Bloomin’ Beautiful Blackbutt’s Jeff Connor is looking forward to a big weekend in Blackbutt<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

September 12, 2014<\/strong><\/p>\n

Blackbutt’s annual spring festival, “Bloomin’ Beautiful Blackbutt” is on again this weekend, with everything from bellydancing to bird watching to keep visitors happy.<\/p>\n

There are\u00a0six separate themed venues at this year’s event (see Program of Events below):<\/p>\n

1. Blackbutt Showground \u2013 \u201cPrepare to Hit the Trail\u201d and \u201cBands at the Butt\u201d<\/p>\n

2. Blackbutt Railhead and Rail Trails \u2013 \u201cLet\u2019s Get Physical\u201d and \u201cLookin\u2019 Back\u201d<\/p>\n

3. Les Muller Park and Library \u2013 \u201cKids Central\u201d<\/p>\n

4. The Main Street \u2013 \u201cSing, Stroll and Shop\u201d<\/p>\n

5. Town Common and Memorial Hall \u2013 \u201cHand Made In The Country\u201d<\/p>\n

6. The Butt \u2013 Top to Bottom \u2013 cross the Highway to \u201cLearn, Stroll and Dine\u201d<\/p>\n

The festival kicked off on Thursday night with the annual sponsor’s dinner at the Radnor Hotel.<\/p>\n

Announced on the night were the winners of the window display competition. For the second year running, it was the Bunya Nut Cafe.<\/p>\n
