The South Burnett Suicide Prevention Working Group’s annual celebration of RU OK? Day this year attracted support from more than 50 businesses throughout the region.<\/p>\n

RU OK? is a national campaign which aims to encourage people to connect with colleagues, friends and loved ones by reaching out to anyone doing it tough and asking \u201cRU OK?\u201d<\/p>\n

In the South Burnett, it is co-ordinated by the local Suicide Prevention Working Group who distributed packs to 51 participating cafes, bakeries and other businesses.<\/p>\n

The packs included posters, balloons, RUOK coffee cups and other items designed to “start a conversation”.<\/p>\n

A free community barbecue was also held from 7:00am-8:30am in front of Member for Nanango Deb Frecklington\u2019s electorate office in Kingaroy.<\/p>\n
