A Brisbane man has been airlifted by the RACQ CareFlight Rescue helicopter service after being injured in a trail bike accident north of Goomeri today.<\/p>\n

A CareFlight spokesman said the 19-year-old was riding with a friend on a rocky dirt track along a ridgeline when he fell off.<\/p>\n

He suffered suspected head and leg injuries in the accident.<\/p>\n

The man\u2019s friend alerted emergency authorities.<\/p>\n

The Sunshine Coast-based RACQ CareFlight Rescue helicopter was despatched to the scene at 3:00pm.<\/p>\n

The helicopter landed in a small clearing about 300m away.<\/p>\n

The Critical Care Doctor and Flight Intensive Care Paramedic on-board the helicopter treated and stabilised the man for flight.<\/p>\n

He was flown to the Royal Brisbane and Women\u2019s Hospital in a stable condition.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
