A 36-year-old woman will face a charge of driving without due care and attention after a single vehicle traffic accident on the D’Aguilar Highway last Wednesday.<\/p>\n

Senior Sergeant Duane Frank, from Kingaroy Police, said witnesses saw the woman’s 4WD Suzuki suddenly run off the road near the overtaking lanes between Kingaroy and Nanango.<\/p>\n

The woman and her two-year-old child – the only other passenger in the vehicle – were taken to hospital by ambulance for precautionary checks.<\/p>\n

More than 300 children attended the Kingaroy Blue Light disco on Friday night. The next scheduled disco will be held on October 31.<\/p>\n

* * *<\/strong><\/p>\n

Police executed a drug search warrant last Wednesday on a house in Wickham Street, Nanango.<\/p>\n

An 18-year-old man has been issued with a notice to appear in court on charges of possessing drug utensils.<\/p>\n

A 20-year-old woman has also been issued with a notice to appear in court after a police allegedly located drug utensils in a house in Gold Street, Nanango.<\/p>\n

* * *<\/strong><\/p>\n

Kingaroy police responding to complaints that laser lights were being shone in the eyes of motorists, located three youths in Ivy Street, Kingaroy, on Wednesday night.<\/p>\n

Snr Sgt Frank said a 17-year-old would face a charge of possessing dangerous drugs and possessing drug utensils.<\/p>\n

An 18-year-old and another 17-year-old have both been issued with a drug diversion orders on similar charges.<\/p>\n

A 24-year-old man allegedly told police that cannabis was causing his erratic behaviour when they confronted him in Youngman Street, Kingaroy, on Wednesday night.<\/p>\n

Police were responding to complaints of a disturbance in the area.<\/p>\n

The man was issued with a notice to appear on a charge of possessing drugs.<\/p>\n

Police were called to a disturbance in Doonkuna Street, Kingaroy, at 2:30am on Sunday \u00a0after complaints of fighting and screaming.<\/p>\n

A 36-year-old man will face a charge of carrying a knife in a public place.<\/p>\n

* * *<\/strong><\/p>\n

After receiving complaints from the public, Kingaroy police attended public toilets in Glendon Street, Kingaroy, at 1:00pm last Thursday.<\/p>\n

They allegedly located a woman, 33, and a man 21, and a number of syringes.<\/p>\n

The woman has been charged with possessing and using controlled substances; the man has been charged with possessing a controlled substance.<\/p>\n
