The South Burnett Saints will come up against the Cougars again in the Grand Final<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

In a replay of their Qualifying Final clash, the South Burnett Saints will come up against University Cougars in next weekend’s Grand Final of the Darling Downs 2nd Division AFL competition.<\/p>\n

After overcoming Cougars in the third-quarter last Sunday to earn a spot in the Grand Final, the Saints had this weekend off.<\/p>\n

Cougars had to defeat Highfields today to earn their spot in the Grand Final.<\/p>\n

However, the fourth-placed Lions proved no hurdle.<\/p>\n

The University side kept Highfields scoreless in the first and second terms, and only allowed in three goals and one behind for the whole game.<\/p>\n

The final score was 12.12 (84) to 3.1 (19).<\/p>\n

The Grand Final between the South Burnett Saints and University Cougars will be played next Sunday (September 14) at 2:30pm at Rockville Oval (Tor Street, Toowoomba).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
