September 7, 2014<\/strong><\/p>\n

The South Burnett Saints AFL Club held a presentation evening for its junior players on Friday night at the Kingaroy Cricket Club.<\/p>\n

The Saints had U8s, U10s and U14s players in 2014 and hopes to have an U16s side next season.<\/p>\n

The U14s, in particular, had a good year, finishing 6th on the ladder after seven wins and six losses.<\/p>\n

Coach Darryl Brooks said the team had been just one win away from finishing in fourth spot and getting into the semi-finals.<\/p>\n

Minor premiers in the age group were Dalby who only had one loss during the year, and that was to the young Saints.<\/p>\n
