St Mary’s Catholic Parish in Kingaroy has a special guest at their Dinner Dance on Saturday night, the Auxiliary Bishop to the Brisbane Archdiocese.<\/p>\n

Bishop Brian Finnigan had planned to come to the South Burnett to confirm young Catholics in the Nanango and Kingaroy parishes, but came up early so he also could take part in the dinner dance.<\/p>\n

The event, which attracted more than 100 parishioners to the Kingaroy RSL’s Tobruk Room, was to raise funds towards the purchase of a new organ for the Kingaroy church.<\/p>\n

Organisers said they were pleased with the excellent turnout.<\/p>\n
