An elderly horse rider has been airlifted to Nambour Hospital after he was found lying in a paddock at Hivesville this morning.<\/p>\n

An RACQ CareFlight Rescue spokesman said the man had been working his property this morning when he fell from his horse, sustaining injuries to his left side.<\/p>\n

The alarm was raised when he failed to return to the homestead.<\/p>\n

The Sunshine Coast RACQ CareFlight Rescue crew was tasked to the property just after 9:00am.<\/p>\n
