August 29, 2014<\/strong><\/p>\n

The grand finals of the Interdistrict Netball Competition – which featured teams from Nanango and Kingaroy – were played this evening at the Nanango Netball Courts.<\/p>\n

Winners of the Cadets Grand Final were Nanango team Dynamite Divas who defeated another Nanango team, Jedi Ninjas, 22-14 in a hard-fought game.<\/p>\n

Player of the match was Willow Robson.<\/p>\n

In the Junior division, \u00a0Nanango team Cheetahs defeated Kingaroy team Attacking Angels 14-4.<\/p>\n

Player of the match was Taylah Kidman.<\/p>\n

Nine teams competed in each division.<\/p>\n

Also presented with a trophy was long-time volunteer Lynn Smith, who was named the Nanango and District Netball Association’s Club Person of the Year.<\/p>\n
