A 21-year-old man who was sentenced to six months jail – but then immediately paroled – after he king hit a 51-year-old man last November was back before Kingaroy Magistrates Court today on two more charges.<\/p>\n

Zack Dylan Bleakley pleaded guilty to assault occasioning bodily harm and being drunk and disorderly on licensed premises after at incident at a Kingaroy hotel in July.<\/p>\n

Police Prosecutor Sergeant Wayne Bushell said Bleakley became abusive and aggressive when bar staff stopped serving him alcohol. He then refused to leave and struggled with a security staff member, striking him in the face a number of times.<\/p>\n

The man was not seriously injured.<\/p>\n

The incident was captured on CCTV.<\/p>\n

Acting Magistrate Graham Hillan told Bleakley that it appeared alcohol was the problem.<\/p>\n

He said alarm bells should have gone off after the first incident when he was paroled.<\/p>\n

“If you cannot control (yourself) by not drinking to excess, don’t drink at all,” he said.<\/p>\n

He said Bleakley had re-offended just a month after his parole had expired.<\/p>\n

Bleakley was fined $500 for the disorderly behaviour. For the assault, he was sentenced to nine months jail, suspended for 15 months.<\/p>\n

Also in Kingaroy Magistrates Court:<\/strong><\/p>\n

A man facing six drugs charges – including a count of supply – successfully applied to have the matters transferred to another court.<\/p>\n

Gavin Richard Cisneros was ordered to appear in Maryborough Magistrates Court on September 22.<\/p>\n

A man who fled from police over a back fence and then led them on a foot chase after they tried to take him back into custody for breaching his parole conditions pleaded guilty to obstructing police.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Charles Anthony Hoger, 28, appeared via videolink from Maryborough Jail.<\/p>\n

Police prosecutor Sgt Bushell said Hoger had picked up “an instrument” and fled from police; after the chase he had to be subdued with capsicum spray.<\/p>\n

“He didn’t threaten police with the weapon but police had it mind that he had a weapon,” Sgt Bushell said.<\/p>\n

Magistrate Hillan fined Hoger $400.<\/p>\n

A 67-year-old man charged with three counts of rape was committed to face trial on a date to be fixed in the District Court.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The court was told the offences were allegedly committed at Hivesville, Glan Devon and Mondure between 2011 and 2013.<\/p>\n

The complainant was a child at the time.<\/p>\n

Video and audio interviews with the man and the child were tendered to the court.<\/p>\n

Defence solicitor Chris Campbell said it was conceded there was a prima facie case to go to trial before a jury.<\/p>\n

When asked by Magistrate Hillan if he had anything to say, the man replied: “Not guilty on any of them, your honour.”<\/p>\n

An 18-year-old P-plate driver whose 4WD collided with a car at the intersection of the Bunya Highway and Aerodrome Road earlier this month was fined $750.<\/strong><\/p>\n

An elderly couple in the car, which was spun around by the impact, suffered shock with the male driver also taken to Kingaroy Hospital for treatment of suspected neck injuries.<\/p>\n

Jeremy Stephen Copas pleaded guilty\u00a0to driving without due care and attention.<\/p>\n
