August 13, 2014<\/strong><\/p>\n

Gympie detectives have charged a third man after investigations into an alleged burglary and assault at Bells Bridge, east of Kilkivan, on August 2.<\/p>\n

Police will allege that around 1:30am, a group of people entered a residence on Ellis Road and assaulted a man and woman in the house.<\/p>\n

They then allegedly stole a vehicle from the home and fled the scene.<\/p>\n

A 17-year-old Gympie man has been charged with burglary, grievous bodily harm, assault occasioning bodily harm in company, stealing a motor vehicle, wilful damage and arson of a stolen motor vehicle.<\/p>\n

He is due to appear in the Gympie Magistrates Court on August 14.<\/p>\n

A 17-year-old Glenwood man and a 16-year-old Gympie boy were charged last week in relation to the same incident.<\/p>\n

Gympie detectives are appealing for any information from the public that may assist with identifying other people involved in the incident.<\/p>\n
