Eddie Aubrey and Alex Georgetown stunned onlookers when they dead heated in the 100m and 200m races for 10-year-old boys at Cherbourg State School sports day on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

Principal Peter Sansby was excited by the number of parents and community members that came to watch the two-day carnival.<\/p>\n

Events began after morning classes with sporting battles between the house teams of Freeman (yellow), Gilbert (black) and Blair (Red).<\/p>\n

The preps battled it out with beanbag relays, egg and spoon races and ball games.<\/p>\n

At the end of the day Freeman won with 117 points, followed by Gilbert on 105 and Blair on 99.<\/p>\n
