Cherbourg State School student Tyreece Gyemore<\/strong> earned a week of free school lunches by setting a new 11-year-old boys’ high jump record at the school’s two-day sports carnival held this week.<\/p>\n

Teachers were kept busy continually raising the bar a centimetre at a time until Tyreece\u2019s success ran out at the 128cm mark.<\/p>\n

This height was achieved using only a scissor-kick style.<\/p>\n

Fosby Flops are banned due to school regulations and all competitors have to land on their feet.<\/p>\n

Tyreece proved he had springs in his legs and principal Peter Sansby said it was a great achievement.<\/p>\n
