Feel like a highland fling? Then you’d better pack up your kilt and sporran and head out to Boondooma Homestead this weekend for the annual\u00a0Scots In The Bush Scottish and Celtic Festival.<\/p>\n

The three-day event will kick off on Friday and always draws a strong crowd of caravanners out to have a good time and experience something that little bit different.<\/p>\n

There’ll be nine bands featured on stage: Ishka Ceilidh Band,\u00a0Celtic Psychosis,\u00a0Country Kin, the\u00a0Leaping Lizards, the\u00a0Noosa Pipe Band,\u00a0Darryl Craft,\u00a0Tartan Time,\u00a0Celtic Kin\u00a0and the\u00a0Rum City Highland Dancers.<\/p>\n

There’ll also be Scottish dancing, Scottish-themed stalls and traditional highland games, including tossing the caber.<\/p>\n

A licensed bar will be running throughout the event and meals will be available.<\/p>\n

Organiser Buddy Thomson said the $50 entry fee per head for the full three days also included bush camping on site.<\/p>\n

Non-campers can experience all the fun for just $15 on Friday, $25 on Saturday or $10 on Sunday (children under 14 are free).<\/p>\n
