The grass has been painted with logos, sponsors’ signs are up, extra spectator stands have been erected and everything’s ready for the TV crew to move in … the South Burnett’s biggest day of rugby league for years is all set to kick off.<\/p>\n

The Intrust Super Cup match – the clash of the Seagulls – will get underway at 2:00pm on Sunday afternoon at T.J. O’Neill Oval in Kingaroy.<\/p>\n

It will feature two top-five Queensland sides, the Wynnum-Manly Seagulls and the Tweed Heads Seagulls.<\/p>\n

The football is sure to be great with only one point separating the pair on the ladder just weeks out from the semi-finals.<\/p>\n

Accompanying the teams to Kingaroy will be league ambassador, former NRL and Origin player Ben Ross who played with St George Illawarra, Penrith, Cronulla-Sutherland and South Sydney during his long career.<\/p>\n

There will also be two great local games on the day, which is the last round of the South Burnett competition before the semi-finals:<\/strong><\/p>\n
