Vehicles from the Sunshine Coast, Gympie and Fraser Coast will be joining local cars at the weekend rally<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

The South Burnett will be the focus of attention for four car clubs this weekend, August 4-5, when the South Burnett Antique Motor Club hosts its annual 4 Club Rally<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Members of the Sunshine Coast, Gympie and Fraser Coast clubs will be coming to the region to take part in the event, and more than 70 entries have been received so far.<\/p>\n

The oldest will be a 1920 Buick which is coming from Bribie Island, but organisers say there will be many other fine examples of old motor vehicles.<\/p>\n

The cars can be seen at St John’s School in Ivy Street, Kingaroy, from noon to 1:30pm on Saturday; or at the South Burnett Energy Centre in Henry Street, Nanango, from 2:20pm to 3:30pm.<\/p>\n

On Sunday, they’ll be at the Murgon Dairy Museum between 12:30pm and 1:30pm.<\/p>\n

A number of runs will be held around the region, starting at St John’s at 8:30am on Saturday with Mayor Wayne Kratzmann waving the cars off, and concluding on Sunday with a trip to Boat Mountain.<\/p>\n

The South Burnett Antique Motor Club started in 1974 and meets on the first Monday of every month at the Town Common Hall in Oliver Bond Street, Kingaroy, at 7:30pm (with the exception of September and November, when it meets at the Queensland Ambulance Services building in Nanango).<\/p>\n

Anyone interested in old cars is invited to attend.<\/p>\n
