The Toowoomba-based RACQ CareFlight Rescue helicopter flew into Manar Park near Boondooma yesterday afternoon to airlift an Ipswich man injured in a motocross accident.<\/p>\n

The 22-year-old rider suffered a suspected broken leg and other possible injuries.<\/p>\n

He was transported to Toowoomba Base Hospital.<\/p>\n

A CareFlight spokessperson said this was the fifth off-road motorcycle rider involved in an accident that the rescue service responded to in southern Queensland yesterday – attending other incidents at Chinchilla, Beerburrum and South Isis.<\/p>\n

In the Chinchilla incident, which occurred earlier in the day, \u00a0a\u00a0teenage boy was airlifted to Toowoomba Base Hospital after falling off a trail bike.<\/p>\n

The rider, aged in his mid-teens, sustained suspected abdominal and arm injuries.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
