The Murgon Mustangs have a big weekend of rugby league football planned for tomorrow at Murgon Sportsground.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s the first time this year that all grades will be action at home, from the juniors right through to the seniors.<\/p>\n

In the main game, the evenly matched Mustangs and Wolves will be playing for second spot on the competition ladder.<\/p>\n

Both have had seven wins so far this season and both are coming off losses in the last round and are sure to be fired up.<\/p>\n

It should be a great match!<\/p>\n

It will also be a cancer-awareness day, with players wearing pink socks and money being collected on the day for the Cancer Council.<\/p>\n

Senior coach Mark McDonald will be \u201cshaving for a cure\u201d under the watchful eye of club stalwart Alicia Pidgeon, from\u00a0Alicia’s Spa and Hair Worx in Murgon.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy sister-in-law was diagnosed with cancer in February and I haven\u2019t had a shave since then,\u201d Mark said.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am trying to get the message out about cancer awareness. Get yourself checked.<\/p>\n

\u201cYoung people think they\u2019re bullet-proof, but I also want to get the message to their mums and dads.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf we can reach just one person who decides to get a check up, it will be worth it.\u201d<\/p>\n

(If you can’t make it to the games, donations will also be accepted at the Commonwealth Bank in Murgon).<\/em><\/p>\n
