Doreen Fitch and Daphne Stewart &#8211; 31\n<li>Brian Havell, Henry Bliesner and Lyn Halliday &#8211; 27\n<li>Rob Douglass, Todd Currell and Sandra Currell &#8211; 27\n<li>John Moore, Jenny Moore and George Wolski &#8211; 27\n<li>Bob Hall, Ben Pratap and Woody Hammond &#8211; 27\n<li>Warren Arthur, Delvin Powys and Doris Drew &#8211; 20\n<li>Horst Myer, Ron Lucas and Alison Anderson &#8211; 18\n<li>Neil Currell, Di Currell and John Beattie &#8211; 12\n<\/ul>\n<p>Some exciting matches in the Men\u2019s Championship pairs were played during the week. <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Robbie Douglass and Neil Currell defeated Neil Johnston and Christie MacLeod 19-15\n<li>John Moore and Todd Currell defeated John Beattie and Ron Lucas 30-11\n<li>Brian Profke and Merv Fitch defeated Horst Meyer and Leo Robinson 17-13\n<\/ul>\n<p>Ladies Club Day was on Wednesday, and the Club Trophy was contested with one game over 18 ends, with the biggest winning margin to decide the winners. <\/p>\n<p>And they were:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Winners: Glenda Wolski and Allison Anderson def. Gloria Anderson, Di Currell and Margaret Willoughby 21-11\n<li>Runners-up (the smallest winning margin): Lorri Holmes, Bev Profke and Eunice Smith def. Helene Johnson. Lola Harper and Eileen Elliott 21-20\n<li>Daphne Stewart, Ron Lucas and John Beattie def. John Moore, Nev Lawrence and Leo Robinson 20-16\n<li>Kev Profke, Horst Meyer and Jenny Moore drew with Neil Currell, Robyn Diercke and Yvonne Schultz 20-all\n<\/ul>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>* * *<\/strong><\/h2>\n<h3><strong>Kingaroy news:<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><strong>Last Sunday, Kingaroy held Jackpot Pairs.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Twelve teams participated over two games, with the winners  determined by the amount of games won and the combined winning margin.<\/p>\n<p>The winners were Brigitte Kung and Kev Raffin: 2 wins &#8211; combined winning margin 9<\/p>\n<p>The runners up were Rhonda Costello and Glen Turner:  2 wins &#8211; combined winning margin 2.<\/p>\n<p>Sadly, there were no jackpot winners.<\/p>\n<p>On Wednesday, in Fours:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Gladys Slatter, Felipe Munoz, Norma Rook and Maureen Kemp def. Col McBride, June Olsson, Annette O&#8217;Brien and Beryl Woods 22-18\n<li>Peg Robinson, Merv Wolski, Glen Yeates and Val Crawford def. Bess Thorp, Marj Moore, Steve Carland and Maureen Semgreen 26-24\n<\/ul>\n<p>And in Triples, Des Richards, Wanda Carland and Val Jeppesen def. Evelyn Taylor, Bob Bougoure and Sharon Yeates 23-19.<\/p>\n<p>On Thursday, in Triples and Pairs, there was almost a full green.<\/p>\n<p>In Triples: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Robbie Johnson, Hugh Harrison and Malcolm Macleod def. Jeff Turner, Merv Anderson and Paul Marychurch 21-14\n<li>Fred Keding, Felipe Munoz and Ray Maclaren def. Harry Read, Geoff Clutterbuck and Bob Robinson 19-14\n<\/ul>\n<p>And in Pairs, Steve Carland and Col Kratzmann def. Barry O&#8217;Brien and Bronwyn Grant 21-12.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>* * *<\/strong><\/h2>\n<h3><strong>Nanango news:<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><strong>In Scroungers last Friday, Lew Saunders topped the leaderboard with 63 points. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The the next two closest were Ben Pratap with 59 points, and Greg Pogson with 58 points.<\/p>\n<p>On Tuesday in the Men&#8217;s Social, with conditions of play 1 for an end and 4 for a win:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Cec Bracken and Allan Ward &#8211; 13\n<li>Lew Saunders and Bob Hall &#8211; 12\n<li>Trevor George and Jim Fowler &#8211; also 12\n<\/ul>\n<p>We will stop there&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>And on Wednesday in the Ladies Social, Lyn Halliday and Sue Tucker def. Sylvia Fanning, June McKee and Kerry Little 29-11.<\/p>\n<p>Now here&#8217;s a date for the diary:<\/p>\n<p>Nanango will be holding their Winter Carnival  on Saturday, August 16. It will start with Open Pairs at 12:00 noon. And then on Sunday 17th, there&#8217;ll be a Mixed ours contest with a 9:30am start. Looks like a great weekend!<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>* * *<\/strong><\/h2>\n<h3><strong>Kilcoy news:<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><strong>Kilcoy&#8217;s Mixed Championships are well under way, and there&#8217;ll be several matches coming up in the next few days.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Christmas in July &#8211; sponsored by Ron Glover &#8211; was a great success, with 28 players on the green.<\/p>\n<p>The Winners on a countback looking for winning margin were Jeff Welden, Marie Thompson and Beryl Ferguson who defeated Jan Elliot, Nelly Herbert and Brett Kelly 23-13.<\/p>\n<p>The Runners-Up were Lester Bechly, Pauline Lawson and Flora Kelly who defeated Sharon Walker, Kathy Hill and Col Ferguson 23-15.<\/p>\n<p>Other scores of interest:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Dorothy Kranenbring, Margaret Worrall, Fay Vicary and Liz Frawley def.
